About PRS
There shall be and is hereby established a political party known as the “Parti Rakyat Sarawak” (in short PRS).

The Emblem
The emblem or logo of the Party shall be a growing paddy plant laden with heavy grain-bearing spike; encircled by an electronic particle and superimposed on a trigonometric figure enthroned on the words “PARTI RAKYAT SARAWAK”.

Simple notes for using the logo
- Please use the logo exactly as supplied — do not stretch, rotate, recolour, crop or add effects to it.
- Leave some clear space around the logo, and avoid placing it over busy pictures.
- On dark or coloured backgrounds, use the white background version so the name stays readable.
- For banners, posters and printing, use the high resolution version so it stays sharp.

Red
Stands for dedication, determination, courage and leadership.
Green
Portrays self-esteem, sincerity, respect and honesty.
Gold
Signifies excellence, achievement and the rules of law.

The logo projects the concept of modernization and rural development through science and technology.

Paddy Plant
The paddy plant in the centre represents pristine country side, freshness, growth and rejuvenation.

The paddy grains signify sustenance, source of prosperity and hope.

The electron encircling the paddy stalk symbolizes science and technology, unity and oneness of purpose.

“PARTI RAKYAT SARAWAK” is the vehicle and trust of political struggles for the rakyat and the nation.
Article I · 4
The Party Flag
The Party flag's background shall be of apple green in colour, rectangular in shape and with the party emblem placed in the centre in an upright position.
The apple green background in the Party Flag symbolizes rural-based communities and resilience of members.
Article II · Aims and Objects
The objects of the Party shall include

To preserve and protect the sovereignty of Malaysia.
- b
To advance the political development of the people of Sarawak with the aim of maintaining the principle of parliamentary democracy through constitutional means.

Limitation of Affiliation
The Party shall not have any affiliation and/or connection with any society established outside Malaysia.
History
Presidents of PRS
2004
Parti Rakyat Sarawak was founded by Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr. James Jemut Masing, the party's first President.
2022
YBhg Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum became the second President of PRS.
2025
YB Dato' Sri John Sikie Tayai was elected the third President of PRS for the 2025–2028 term.
